Chris, a native of Shreveport, Louisiana, is a recent graduate of Colorado State University, where he earned his degree in Business with a specialization in Financial Planning. He successfully passed the Certified Financial Planner® (CFP®) exam in March 2025 and is committed to ongoing education to deepen his expertise in financial planning.
Chris’ passion for personal finance stems from his family's entrepreneurial background, which has fueled his dedication to helping individuals and business owners navigate financial complexities. He previously gained experience as an intern at Raymond James & Associates in his hometown before joining Impact Financial Strategies, where he started as a part-time intern and has now transitioned into a full-time role.
A major influence on Chris’ journey has been his global experiences, particularly in Latin America. He has lived with host families in Perú and Mexico City, visited Colombia and Puerto Rico, and explored numerous U.S. National Parks. He hopes to leverage these unique cultural perspectives to better serve traditionally underrepresented communities in financial planning.
In his free time, Chris enjoys jiu-jitsu, snowboarding, chess, and reading. His love for reading led Chris to create Learning From Literature, a website where he shares book reviews, curated reading lists, and insightful articles.
