Christopher Grieder

Intern, Impact Financial Strategies

Chris, a native of Shreveport, Louisiana, is a fourth-year business student at Colorado State University, specializing in Financial Planning. Chris plans to graduate in December 2024 followed by taking the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) exam in March 2025. Chris’ interest in financial planning is rooted in his family’s entrepreneurial background, which has driven his passion for helping individuals and business owners manage the complexities of personal finance. Chris has gained practical experience through his internship at Raymond James & Associates and is currently working as a part-time intern at Impact Financial Strategies, gaining valuable hands-on experience to better serve others in the future.

A major influence on Chris’ journey has been his global experiences, particularly in Latin America. He has lived with host families in both Perú and Mexico City. He has visited Colombia and traveled across many U.S. National Parks. He hopes to leverage these unique cultural perspectives, to continue growing and understanding of Spanish language and culture; to better serve traditionally underrepresented communities in financial planning.

In his free time, Chris enjoys jiu-jitsu, snowboarding, chess, and reading. His love for reading and learning, led Chris to create his own website, Learning From Literature, with book reviews, lists, notes, and articles.
