For more than two decades, Tim has been a financial guide for his clients, helping them identify their goals and then crafting specific strategies to help them pursue their ambitions. In Tim’s practice, this is a deeply individualized process requiring a high degree of care, attention, sincerity and trustworthiness, hallmarks of his approach to personal wealth planning and financial advice. He works to always put his clients’ well-being and their goals first.
Prior to joining Raymond James in 2022, Tim’s practice was affiliated with Edward Jones in Anchorage, Alaska, where he started his career in 1998. He moved his practice to Fort Collins in 2018.
Though born in San Francisco, Fort Collins is his hometown, and he has deep roots in the community. He was a member of the inaugural class of Rocky Mountain High School and is a graduate of Colorado State University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in technical journalism with a minor in English. Tim has also earned the Accredited Asset Management SpecialistSM professional designation.
He takes pride in being a steward to his clients’ finances, and maintains his excitement and his intellectual curiosity about the opportunities available to them. He is as comfortable working with established, retired professionals as he is with young families as they start their wealth journeys.
He lives in Fort Collins with his wife, Patty, who was born and raised in the city. He has three children, Megan, Dustin and Logan. And the couple has three dogs, Mollie, Nellie and Bella.
Outside the office, you can often find him hiking to explore Colorado’s natural treasures, cycling, playing golf and traveling.
