Leah is originally from Chicago and relocated to Longmont, Colorado, in 2021 after over a decade of experience at Northwestern University. Drawn by her love of the mountains and outdoor activities, Leah now resides in Loveland.
Leah holds a Bachelor of Music degree from The Juilliard School and a Master of Music degree in Music Performance, oboe, from Northwestern University. Her dedication to her craft, attention to detail, and disciplined work ethic have seamlessly translated into roles as an executive assistant and senior programmer.
Leah began her career in higher education as a Senior Program Coordinator at Northwestern, supporting research centers such as the Kellogg School of Management and the International Institute for Nanotechnology. After moving to Colorado, she served as an Executive Assistant to the Dean at the College of Nursing at CU Anschutz Medical Campus, and later, she worked as a consultant for an attorney specializing in commercial real estate.
Throughout her career, Leah has been recognized for her focus, determination, and meticulousness, and she is eager to bring these strengths to the IFS team.
Outside of work, Leah enjoys hiking Colorado’s 14ers, downhill skiing, cross-country skiing, reading, and spending time with her miniature schnauzer/yorkie mix, Xena. She is well on her way to completing all the Colorado 14ers in the next two years. Passionate about animals, Leah loves meeting new dogs and always makes time to shower them with affection.
